What makes for a great photoshoot? There are so many elements: smiling faces, interesting poses, a nice setting, a good camera and lens, nice lighting, coordinating outfits…so many things to consider! But it’s our job to make it as stress-fee and as enjoyable as possible for our families. This is something we take pride in. We want each of our shoots to be smooth and painless for the families. If the parents can get the family to the location dressed and in good spirits, we’ll do our part to take care of all the rest.
For the Murphys, we set a time, packed our gear, and head out to the local park – a new location for us. We scouted out some spots for posing (which took some creativity, as it’s a fairly small park, surrounded by homes and roads… but we were super happy with what we were able to make work!) and got to work.
We loved the outfits and color scheme the Muphys had going. Mom and Dad in navy, and then the kids with the pop of pink – so darling! If you’re considering a family shoot and don’t know how to dress, have no fear, there are a number of good articles on line with recommendations (like here and here).
But anywhere, here they are – in the neighborhood park in their adorable outfits…. the Murphys:
