A few months ago we had the pleasure of shooting engagement photos for an awesome couple, Ginny and Jason, at Surfside beach.  (You can find their engagement pics here.)  And then mid July we had the honor of photographing their fantastic wedding celebration at The Carriage House.

The happy couple had already had their wedding ceremony (with just a few friends and family up in the North East), but then came home to Houston to celebrate their nuptials with extended family and friends. It really was a wonderful event, with an awesome, happy vibe the whole evening.  Love was truly in the air, and we hope we were able to capture some of that in these pics.

The venue was very cool – a beautiful rustic chic location that is fairly new.  Top off a great venue with a fun band (Frank Sinatra tribute), bbq, drinks and dancing, not to mention some meaningful toasts and a really fun “shoe game” with the happy couple – and you’ve got one great party.

In just a few months the happy couple will be moving to Japan.  We wish the couple all the best for this new chapter in their lives.  With such an adventure ahead of them, it was only fitting to have a grand send-off, complete with fireworks and sparklers!
